Meet Carol and Ron Nichols

We understand how difficult it is to find someone to capture your family and know exactly what to do with your images afterwards. We make your experience fun and relaxing all the way through the day of being photographed till the final decision on your portraits.  We can show you exactly what size they need to be on your walls, and make the process easy. We have your back making sure everyone will look their best. Not everyone can do this. Actually anymore, just about everyone calls himself or herself a photographer. Like they say in the cooking industry, having a great set of pots and pans doesn’t make you a chef, just as owning a great digital camera doesn’t make you a photographer. We have what it takes to create beautiful wall art for your home.

Photography is art.  

It’s about light, composition, design and making our subjects look great.  Learning how all these work together takes years of experience, a keen eye and digital imaging equipment that goes way beyond the camera.

Our photographers, Ron and Carol Nichols are both artists with history, credentials and experience.  With a combined forty plus years of experience, their image making skills are unmatched in the mid-Michigan area.

Carol, a traditional and digital painter has studied with the top photographers in the world perfecting her craft. Her images have been accepted into the Professional Photographers of America loan collection and in 2014 she earned her Master of Photography degree.

Ron’s images have been published in numerous books. His imagery has been accepted not only in exclusive collections in the U.S., but China, Korea, England, Ireland and Europe.   A Master Photographer, Honorary Master Photographer, Photographic Craftsman he has received more awards in the photographic industry then all other Lansing area photographers combined. He was most recently recognized by the International Photographic Council of the United Nations with the Photographic Leadership Award.  

Ron is a member of the Society of XXV, an exclusive group of world-class photographers.  He is Past President of that group and also a Past President of the Professional Photographers of America, the world's largest professional photographic association.
